Always a pleasure to work with Peter. His creative and holistic approach to education is to be admired. The respect he earns from his students is the best testament to his abilities as a teacher and a leader.

We are historians
Peter is an inspirational school leader. I worked with him on a year-long curriculum project - 'Come Yew In, Again' - which engaged the whole school (250+ pupils and 23 teachers) as surrealist historians. Our task: to research 700 years of Norwich's migration history and respond to it creatively. Our achievements: an inter-school research conference that brought local primary schools together to disseminate the pupils' research; a play - 'Come Yew In, Again!' - that was underpinned by the children's research and creative response; a book of original songs; an exhibition of creative work by the students; and an oral history project, involving parents and carers with lived experience of migration. Under Peter's expert guidance and creative direction, I spent a year in a school that was learning through creating. I saw children gain in confidence and skills as they found creative ways into history. I had children coming up to me in the corridor to tell me the story, poem or rap-song they had just written for the project. The whole experience changed my professional life and the quality of the project ' Come Yew In, Again' was measured in its inclusion in a 'world-leading' impact case study as part of a national research quality assessment exercise for HE. I'm looking forward to building on this work with Peter and KindEducational.

I worked with Peter as an activity provider and project partner for Peter at Wensum Junior School for several years. First as part of REAL projects and then providing various different iterations of circus workshops, students performance and physical training across various year groups. It was always an absolute pleasure to work with him, and I always felt that we were delivering important, effective work with the children. From the first I was inspired by Peter's enthusiasm, creativity and can do attitude. Working with schools can be quite limiting at times because of the structure and high demands put on teachers, but Peter was always a leader in finding fun, interesting and inspiring ways for children to learn, be creative and achieve more than they thought they could. Its rare to find someone working in a school with such a similar approach to an arts organisation - creative, flexible and with a sense of vision, and without letting the school system break this down too much. Peter always had the best interests of the children's learning first and foremost in his approach and I could see that he would also put in the extra mile to make their learning and environment as engaging as possible. I look foward to what might be possible to create together in the future.

An inspirational educator and leader, I have worked with Pete to bring a range of arts opportunities to young people who would not otherwise have those, including curriculum music, taking part in carnival and children creating their own operas. Peter is a champion of creative learning, an advocate for the arts in education and someone who puts children at the heart of their education. I've seen first hand the difference that can make to children's lives. It is always a pleasure to work with Pete.
