KindEducational launches PBL for Home Schooling families
KindEducational is very excited to launch a new, bespoke Home Schooling offer for families teaching their children at home.
My name is Pete Hubery and I am based in Norwich. I have 24 years experience in both primary and secondary education with the last 10 as a deputy headteacher in a city junior school. I have a demonstrable commitment to child-led learning, project-based learning, outdoor education, community engagement and the arts.

My experience over many years is that this inclusive and creative approach truly engages young people in pursuing purposeful work that really matters to them and the world around them. Its power comes from the simple fact that it emulates how we learn in the ‘real world’:
it is language rich
naturally interdisciplinary
creative
self-differentiating
it promotes oracy
builds confidence
suits independent and small group work
engages the head, hand and heart
and leads to beautiful outcomes that simply need sharing
Depending on your starting point, I can offer a range of support including:
start-up advice and guidance
support with project design and planning
training for families to enable you to deliver PBL for yourself
direct instruction for small groups of children (location dependent)
Project-based learning is an approach that will leave a positive legacy of learning that will last a life time, but it is a process that takes patience and practice to flourish. With that in mind this service includes follow-up support.
Beyond PBL
I can also provide advice and guidance on a wide range of educational matters. I can access a network of educational professionals so if you want something that I cannot deliver myself then I will know someone who can.
